While the Board has not yet considered any motion that references the learning resource known as SOGI 123, it does have some related policies, one of which is mentioned below. Policy B-350 Gender Equity br> The Board acknowledges and accepts its responsibility to provide a non-sexist environment for both students and employees. Because of the changing roles of women and men, the increased sensitivity throughout society to gender equity issues and the schools’ responsibility for the human, social and career development of students, the Board will promote actively gender equity throughout the school district. |
